Favorite books of 2010

I just created a new Listmania list on Amazon with my favorite books from 2010. There are 15 books on this list, but here are my three absolute favorites for the year:

Arcadia Falls by Carol Goodman

Arcadia Falls
This gothic suspense was so well written that it left me sighing and wishing I could write like Goodman.

The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake: A Novel by Aimee Bender

The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake: A Novel
A truly sad book about a girl who grows up tasting the fear, sorrow, and joy in the foods that other people cook that gained keeper status on my bookshelf.

The Rebellion of Jane Clarke: A Novel by Sally Gunning

The Rebellion of Jane Clarke: A Novel
The days leading up to the start of the Revolutionary War told from a woman's perspective. Gunning gives us a balanced view from both sides of the conflict. This book was so well written that I promptly purchased the other historical novels Gunning wrote.

Full reviews can be found on the 2010 review page.
