Unboxing ~ BeautyFix November 2015 ~ is this my last box?

Welcome to my channel. I was pretty convinced that I would cancel this subscription, that is until I delved into the products. Such great products to try, many are often full size. So, will I cancel this subscription before December 1st…. I’m just not sure now….

Beauty boxes I subscribe to – too many boxes again!  This is an ever fluctuating list - coming and going frequently. Now that Starlooks is eliminating the custom box for the look book only subscription, I'll be leaving them and going with another box.

Boxycharm - my favorite box
E.L.F. Play Beautifully Box - cruelty free and ships every other month
Ipsy - generous sample size and sometimes full size items
BeautyFix - mostly skin care and hair care
Walmart Beauty Box - seasonal (4 times a year), mostly samples with an occassional full size item
Birchbox - a great starter box with mostly travel size products

Here are subscription boxes that I recently unsubscribed from:

PopSugar - random lifestyle thngs, very expensive box
Starlooks - cruelty free, great cosmetics
Allure Beauty Box - also a good starter box

Unboxing ~ BeautyFix Box ~ October 2015 @beautyfix @Dermstore

Welcome to my web site. Here is my unboxing of the BeautyFix box from October 2015. This is a really nice box with a lot of great products. Please see the list below for all the specifics on each item (prices are those listed on Dermstore), including cruelty free status. I'm honestly really torn about whether I should switch over to the cruelty free Koverbox. Though I've been happy every month now with BeautyFix, I wish they had more cruelty free items in the boxes, or a 100% cruelty free option.

Unboxing ~ BeautyFix August 2015 ~ fabulous box @Dermstore #BeautyFIX

Welcome to my channel. Here is my unboxing of the August 2015 BeautyFix box. This was a great month – maybe it’ll help you decide if you want to subscribe to it or not. Watch a couple months of unboxings before you decide. I did unsubscribe just in time to see the September didn’t look too great, but some YouTubers may have a different experience.

Bummer. Though it is a huge improvement on July (which was mostly samples), a lot of the products were not cruelty free and I ended up swapping them on mysubscriptionaddiction.com swap. I do really like the Glytone cleanser enough to buy it, but still have to find out if it’s cruelty free or not. I’m thinking it may not be.

Unsubscribed from Blush Beauty Mystery Box ~ now down to two great subsciptions

My December Blush Mystery Beauty Box was a jumble of stuff, including one repeat item. I gave them one more month to pick things up and make a good box, which they unfortunately failed to do. I was pretty ticked off to get the same acne face wash from December, in January's box.

I really loved this box when I first subscribed. It was a consistently great box full of great stuff. December and January showed a huge change... like someone was fired or quit, leaving the box without much in the way of curating.

Of course, now that I've unsubscribed, they will probably improve, but I still won't resubscribe. My vanity is full of stuff I still haven't used, and I'm still subscribed to Boxycharm and Birchbox - two absolutely great boxes!

Here's my Blush Mystery Beauty Box unboxing video for January 2015:

Going backward, here is my Blush Mystery Beauty Box unboxing video for December 2015:

Unboxing - Blush Mystery Beauty box - December 2014... a bit surprising

I've been off line for a couple weeks grading my college classes' essays. Hopefully my use of my planner with keep me a little more organized.

My Blush Mystery box was truly a mystery this month. There was no card and a variety of products, some did not match my skin type. When I emailed their customer service, their reply started out with "Dear Amanda" - huh? Anyway, their basic answer on the issue was that some last minute changes happened that necessitated a change in the bags and that included leaving the cards out. Their hasty change showed in the mixed bag.

Here are the products that were in the December Blush Mystery Beauty box:

Klorane Shampoo With Desert Date (6.7 fl oz.) - this is full size. Price = $15- I didn't like this the first time I got it in October.

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Gel Soapless Cleanser (6.76 fl oz.) - $20
- I tried this the night after I posted my YouTube video and it left my skin feeling tight, dry, and uncomfortable.

Clean Shower Fresh - I got 0.17 fluid oz - the full size is 1 fluid ounce for $38. So this is a deluxe sample.

Keranique Scalp Stimulating Shampoo - I got a deluxe / travel size 1 oz. An 8 oz bottle retails for $30.

Paula's Choice Shine Stopper Instant Matte Finish - full size is 1 fl oz. which is exactly what I got -- retails for $23.

Fusion Beauty Lip Fusion Plump and Shine Lipstick - full size is 0,33 oz for $29. My sample is 0.04 oz. This is the tiniest lipstick I have ever seen.

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen - No.6 TrueTeal - I got the full size, which goes for $12. I'm looking forward to using this. It stroked on nicely, and it's waterproof, so maybe it won't end up under my eyes by the end of the day.

Ahava Mineral Body Lotion - 8.5 fl oz goes for $26. I got a deluxe sample / travel size - 1.3 oz. I've heard good things about this brand, so I'm anxious to try this.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil (3.3 fl oz.) is $45, I can't see an amount listed on the bottle, but will guess it's about half an oz.- web site says it's for face, hair, and body.

Cargo Eyeshadow - Color: Oz (0.12 oz.) - I got this full size version. It retails for $16. I really like this unusual color and will definitely use it.

Unboxing - Blush Beauty Box 2014

I belong to a few beauty boxes. So far, Blush Beauty Box is the best value with four items that are full size. I was pleasantly surprised that all except one extra sample pack are cruelty free.
