I have loved the Collagen Booster serum from Palmetto Derma ever since I received it in a Boxycharm box. Since then I have purchased more, and also purchased the Intensive Hydration on the advice of my daughter, who also got the collagen booster in her Boxycharm box. Palmetto Derma was kind enough to provide a free sample of their eye cream. This is all lovely stuff. I did give the Intense Hydration to my daughter because she loves it and I’m not sure that I do. The eye cream is very nice and I've been using it morning and night with nice results.
I posted a full video review review of these Palmetto Derma products on YouTube:
I tend to use a lot of different products and write my observations in a notebook (the Reviewer's Diary - literally). Below is a video I produced for my YouTube channel. See also, my separate comments typed at the bottom.
Here are the products I reviewed:
Clear Scalp & Beauty, Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, and Brilliant Glossing Styling Cream, CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion, Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera (also contains vitamin E), Palmetto Derma Collagen Booster and Restoration Serum with Vitamin C, E, and Hyaluronic Acid, Paula's Choice Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol, Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 30 Age Smart, Lancome Regenerie Lift Multi-Action Lifting and Firming Cream, Crabtree & Evelyn La Source body wash and lotion, Klorane Shampoo with desert date

Product comments:
Clear Scalp & Beauty Therapy – made my hair super soft and silky to
the touch. My dry scalp didn’t feel itchy and dry anymore after using this
product.
Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, and Brilliant
Glossing Styling Cream (this is the only one of the three that I liked - the 2
oz size that I received goes for $7.99 at CVS - pricey for 2 oz)
CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion - contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid -
those ingredients are the reason the wrinkles on my hands completely
disappeared. Around $10 on Amazon, or about $13 at CVS.
Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera (also
contains vitamin E) - I found this on Amazon for a little over $8. Feels great
and cleanses well. I love this stuff!
Palmetto Derma Collagen Booster and Restoration Serum with Vitamin C,
E, and Hyaluronic Acid - organic and cruelty free - costs about $48 on the
Palmetto Derma website, but sometimes they have sales and sometimes you can
find it a little cheaper on Amazon. This is so good, I can't live without it.
Paula's Choice Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol - another
product I can't live without. I bought mine through the Birchbox website, but
this can also be purchased on the Paula's Choice website - price for 1.7 oz is
around $30, Note: with the cold winter days, I add Pur-lisse with SPF as a last
step.
Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 30 Age Smart - $65 on both Amazon
and the Ulta website. I'm not a fan.
Lancome Regenerie Lift Multi-Action Lifting and Firming Cream, SPF 15 -
I got this deluxe sample size that lasted me quite a while as part of a free
with a purchase program with Lancome. It retails for 1.7 oz $95. It’s a good
thing that I didn’t fall in love with it.
Crabtree & Evelyn La Source body wash and lotion - prices on this
vary wildly from website to website. Amazon and my local shop have a similar
price - between $17 - $20 each. Mom loves this stuff, so I buy it for her at
least once a year.
Klorane Shampooig au dattier du desert (Shampoo with desert date) -
yup, that's what it says on the bottle. It got this full size, 6.7 oz bottle in
my October Blush Beauty box. Around $15 dollars on Amazon and Blush
(Dermstore.com). I'm not in love.
I tried Juice Beauty CC cream and found the earthy scent was too strong and passed it on to my daughter. I was a bit concerned that this product would be the same way, but was pleased to find that the scent is almost non-existent, which is great. A Pros and Cons list:
Pro:
Eye cream has a very nice, smooth consistency
Glides on easily on the delicate eye area
Pump works easily with a measured amount that is consistent with every pump
Pump has a neat design that is easy to use
Con:
Too much (more than you need) eye cream with every pump
Applicator doesn't work as well as your own clean finger
Too tall container
Price - too pricy for just 0.5 oz
Now that the nitty gritty details are done, I did notice a tremendous difference in the fine lines around my eye area - they were definitely reduced. Still there, but smoother. Now I'm not sure if this is the product that did it. Around the same time that I received this product, I also got Palmetto Derma Serum and started using it every day and night. I do try to test products separately, but wanted to see if they complimented each other - they most definitely did. One morning, after using the products for about a week, I noticed that my fine lines were smoother and much harder to see.
One additional note: the pump puts out more than enough for both eyes, so right after washing my face, I use my clean finger to scoop off one pump of the cream, pat half on one side and half on the other. The pump still puts out too much for both eyes, so I smooth any excess above my upper lip where wrinkles are also visible.
Bottom line: though pricey, I may buy it again. I would definitely recommend both product to my friends.
Well, I did manage to create a document for use in the desk size planner and/or A5 Filifax. What I've created is the basic to do list fo...

I have completed a 3rd draft of my first novel and having fallen flat on my face with the query process with a net result of 14 rejections (one very kind, personal one, while the others were form letters). 6 agents didn't answer my query - at this point I'll take that as a no.
I've started a complete rewrite of my finished novel. I have another idea and have started crafting a YA novel, now also a work in progress.
