Likely my new favorite skin cream

I've tried a few things by this brand, but this one is a favorite that I'll be buying for years to come. I got a full-size jar in an Ipsy Glam Bag Plus and have been in love every since.

I have mature normal to dry skin, with rare breakouts. It's hard for me to find a face cream that isn't too heavy and moistures well. This one is perfect for me. It has a gel-like texture, so it spreads evenly and well. It works well over other products and under makeup. Since it has hyaluronic acid it plumps skin and keeps your skin supple. My skin feels moisturized and smooth all day after I apply it. This is an excellent cream.

New Lipstick Subscription ~ Ave Lipstick ~ super nice cruelty free lipsticks @Ave_Lipstick

I received these three lipsticks for free from Ave Lipstick. This is a nice cruelty free brand with lipsticks created with castor oil, olive oil, coconut oil, safflower oil, and lemon and soybean oils. No wonder they feel so good on.

Here’s a link to the website:  https://www.avelipstick.com

The service also tells me, at this time when you subscribe you can get the first month for free, and subscribers can pick the lipsticks they want.

Review ~ Abeauty Anti-Aging Face Cream, my new best friend

Abeauty Wrinkles & Lines Lifting Pulchra Anti Aging Night Face Cream, Grapes, 1.7 Fluid Ounce

I fell completely in love with this cream the first time I tried it. First, it's cruelty free, which already gave it a huge leg up on the competition. Mainly, however, the quality of this cream is fantastic. It comes in a nice little glass jar and at 1.7 ounces, it's about the same size as most other high end and drug store brand creams. It has such a mild fragrance that you can barely smell it. It's smooth and lovely, and gently applied, sank right into my face and neck, leaving my skin feeling softly moisturized, but not greasy. A small amount goes a long way, which does help with the hefty price tag. Only time will tell whether it truly makes a difference with anti-aging, but it is loaded with ingredients that are really good for your skin. This is immediately going on my wishlist - I can see myself buying this again, over and over. It's that nice.

Product Review ~ Dermalogica Precleanse Oil ~ very nice, but not my favorite precleanse oil

Dermalogica Precleanse, 1 Ounce

I have been using cleansing oils as step one in my cleansing routine for a while now. Since I got a neat little set of Dermalogica products, I bought this little bottle of precleanse to test out whether Dermalogica will be my new favorite skin care - the jury is still out on that.

This oil is a nice light oil that you massage into your face before cleansing. It is water emulsified so after I massage it in I wet my hands, then rub the oil - it's really cool when it emulsifies. Then the routine dictates that you rinse that off, then proceed with the cleanser, which I do in the morning. At night, I do the emulsification step, but don't rinse off, then rub in cleanser and my skin feels super moisturized for bedtime. Though I like the precleanse, it is so similar to other oils I've used that water emulsify, and you rinse it off thus having any benefit run down the drain. Also, I've been using Almond Oil for years now and love it as a precleanse (my favorite is on the right) - it's not water emulsifying, but combines well with any cleanser I follow it up with and it has the side effect of my eyebrows getting thicker. I don't think I'll buy this expensive oil again - that's why this 1 ounce travel size worked out so well.  This was the perfect way to try before buying the big one.

Product Review ~ No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser & Beautiful Skin Hydration Mask

This is a product review for one of my favorite skincare items, a hot cloth cleanser that helps restore the moisture balance of your skin. This is awesome stuff.  I bought mine on the Ulta website – I’ve provided a link below (this is not a referral link) for both of the skincare items mentioned in the video, below. The cleanser is only available in the online store.

Product Review ~ Endlessly Beautiful Shea Butter Hand Cream ~ Lovely hand cream, ethically made, cruelty free

Endlessly Beautiful Fair Trade Shea Butter Hydrating Hand Cream-Perfect for Dry Chapped Hands, All Natural & Organic

This cream is my new superhero hand cream. I have others that are nice, but not very strong. When you spend a few hours washing dishes or cleaning, and your hands are really dry, regular hand cream requires multiple applications before it makes any difference at all. This cream restores lost moisture with one application.

This cream is thick and rich, with a slightly whipped consistency. It has only a very mild scent, likely from the ingredients only. It takes just a dime-size amount of this cream to completely restore your hands' moisture without having to reapply. Two other great attributes are that it is cruelty free and is Fair Trade (shea butter is from Africa). For my vegan friends: it does contain beeswax, so it is not vegan.

I was really impressed by this cream. First, I thought the price was a little bit high, but when I noticed with other creams that I have to reapply multiple times, where I only have to apply this once, I realize the cost is not such a big factor. This cream is absolutely lovely.
