Project Polish ~ 2018 through 2019 ~ long term plan

Thanks for joining me for my project polish for 2018 through 2019. I’m getting a late start this year and have expanded the time frame. Bottom line is that no matter what time of year it is, you want to see an empty nail polish bottle.

I’m starting out with 6 polishes – one is clear so it is not on the nail wheel. Here are the colors in order of appearance on the wheel:

Formula X mini - Revved
Julep polish - Spencer It Girl
ELF mini - Golden Godess
Nicole by OPI polish – Mer-Maid for Each Olther
Deco Miami Cosmetics – Feeling Fuego
Spoiled by Wet n Wild – X-Ray Vision (clear polish)

I’ll be adding more polishes and I’ll keep a running list of those finished below.

5 PLUS 5 ~ (Project Pan) Project Polish ~ February 2016 ~ Update #1

Here is my first update on my 5 Plus 5 Project Polish – 5 old, 5 new (or newer).  Unlike the intro list, where I split the polishes out in order of old vs new, they are now going to appear in the list below based on what number they are on the color wheel. I’m working my way through 97 nail polishes, with, as always, a focus on using up the polishes that are not cruelty free. I no longer buy any nail products that are not cruelty free, and on a low to no buy for polishes.

5 PLUS 5 ~ (Project Pan) Project Polish 2016 ~ INTRO

Here is my intro video to a new nail polish project polish I’ve started – it’s called 5 Plus 5 Project Polish – 5 old, 5 new (or newer).  Many of us have too many polishes, and like many beauty products, we just aren’t using them up. After I found several polishes tucked away, my total rose to 97 polishes! I did not count base and top coats, just color. Many of my older polishes are not cruelty free, and, sadly, some of the newer ones are not either. I will no longer buy polish that is not cruelty free, and I put myself on a no-buy for nail polish, so unless I get a polish in a beauty subscription or as a gift, my polishes will not increase.

Please join me in this project polish!

Beauty boxes I subscribe to – too many boxes again!  I unsubscribed from a few, but need to unsubscribe from a few more – just having a hard time figuring out which ones to leave:

Boxycharm - my favorite box
Kloverbox - eco friendly and cruelty free, a bit expensive
Julep - too expensive for the sizes of nail polish you get - may unsubscribe next month
Allure Beauty Box - a good starter box

Here are subscription boxes that I unsubscribed from:

BeautyFix - mostly skin care and hair care
Birchbox - a great starter box with mostly travel size products
PopSugar Must Have - random lifestyle things, very expensive box
Starlooks - cruelty free, great cosmetics
E.L.F. Play Beautifully Box - cruelty free and ships every other month
Walmart Beauty Box - seasonal (4 times a year), mostly samples with an occassional full size item
Ipsy - generous sample size and sometimes full size items
