A boatload of beauty product #reviews

I tend to use a lot of different products and write my observations in a notebook (the Reviewer's Diary - literally). Below is a video I produced for my YouTube channel. See also, my separate comments typed at the bottom.

Here are the products I reviewed:

Clear Scalp & Beauty, Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, and Brilliant Glossing Styling Cream, CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion, Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera (also contains vitamin E), Palmetto Derma Collagen Booster and Restoration Serum with Vitamin C, E, and Hyaluronic Acid, Paula's Choice Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol, Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 30 Age Smart,  Lancome Regenerie Lift Multi-Action Lifting and Firming Cream, Crabtree & Evelyn La Source body wash and lotion, Klorane Shampoo with desert date

Product comments:

Clear Scalp & Beauty Therapy – made my hair super soft and silky to the touch. My dry scalp didn’t feel itchy and dry anymore after using this product.

Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, and Brilliant Glossing Styling Cream (this is the only one of the three that I liked - the 2 oz size that I received goes for $7.99 at CVS - pricey for 2 oz)

CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion - contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid - those ingredients are the reason the wrinkles on my hands completely disappeared. Around $10 on Amazon, or about $13 at CVS.

Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera (also contains vitamin E) - I found this on Amazon for a little over $8. Feels great and cleanses well. I love this stuff!

Palmetto Derma Collagen Booster and Restoration Serum with Vitamin C, E, and Hyaluronic Acid - organic and cruelty free - costs about $48 on the Palmetto Derma website, but sometimes they have sales and sometimes you can find it a little cheaper on Amazon. This is so good, I can't live without it.

Paula's Choice Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol - another product I can't live without. I bought mine through the Birchbox website, but this can also be purchased on the Paula's Choice website - price for 1.7 oz is around $30, Note: with the cold winter days, I add Pur-lisse with SPF as a last step.

Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 30 Age Smart - $65 on both Amazon and the Ulta website. I'm not a fan.

Lancome Regenerie Lift Multi-Action Lifting and Firming Cream, SPF 15 - I got this deluxe sample size that lasted me quite a while as part of a free with a purchase program with Lancome. It retails for 1.7 oz $95. It’s a good thing that I didn’t fall in love with it.

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source body wash and lotion - prices on this vary wildly from website to website. Amazon and my local shop have a similar price - between $17 - $20 each. Mom loves this stuff, so I buy it for her at least once a year.

Klorane Shampooig au dattier du desert (Shampoo with desert date) - yup, that's what it says on the bottle. It got this full size, 6.7 oz bottle in my October Blush Beauty box. Around $15 dollars on Amazon and Blush (Dermstore.com). I'm not in love.

Review of Dermalogica Age Smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 30

So, as promised, I've been reviewing each product from my May 2014 Sample Society box. Today I'm reviewing the Dermalogica Age Smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 30. This works well for me and I love it, but it is a bit heavy and my daughter gave me hers because her skin didn't tolerate it well.

Here's my video review:
