All natural isn't always a good thing ~ product injured my skin

Review for Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream, Soap Bark and Chamomile, 100% Natural

I filmed this a few days before my trip to Florida. Since I slept with oil and vaseline on my face every night and oiled my skin daily, the injury had healed, without scarring, by the time I got to Mom’s house. When I got this product I didn’t read the ingredient list – mistake. It contains some great ingredients, like aloe and coconut oil, but has a larger percentage of alcohols and witch hazel, which in its purest form also contains alcohol. If you have oily skin you may like this product, but you should still be cautious.

Beauty boxes I subscribe to – too many boxes again!  I unsubscribed from a few, but need to unsubscribe from a few more – just having a hard time figuring out which ones to leave:

Boxycharm - my favorite box
Walmart Beauty Box - seasonal (4 times a year), mostly samples with an occassional full size item
E.L.F. Play Beautifully Box - cruelty free and ships every other month
Ipsy - generous sample size and sometimes full size items
Kloverbox - eco friendly and cruelty free, a bit expensive
Julep - too expensive for the sizes of nail polish you get
Allure Beauty Box - a good starter box

Here are subscription boxes that I unsubscribed from:

BeautyFix - mostly skin care and hair care
Birchbox - a great starter box with mostly travel size products
PopSugar Must Have - random lifestyle things, very expensive box
Starlooks - cruelty free, great cosmetics

CeraVe Baby Wash and Shampoo - Great as an adult face wash

Yeah, that's right. I said adult face wash.

I don't have a baby at home, but I have very sensitive, dry skin. I also have been using other CeraVe products for a while now and love them, especially the CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion, which I have used on my face and body. So, it was a natural thing for me to pick this CeraVe baby wash to try on my face.

I've been using it every day (both morning and night) since I got it (about a week). My skin comes out soft and very balanced - neither feeling dry or oily, which makes this pretty darn perfect as a face wash. This has a different, very light scent from other baby products. There is no powdery baby scent to it. It has a very light, nondescript scent that smells clean, but doesn't linger. The texture of the baby wash is smooth and just one pump is enough for your entire face.

I may have just found the perfect face wash! One other pro on this product, and all CeraVe products, is that it is also cruelty free. Great stuff.
