Quick unboxing ~ HauteLook Haul ~ December 2015

Thanks for watching my super short HauteLook haul video. HauteLook has some pretty spectacular deals most of the time. I’m putting myself on a low buy, however, and won’t be going back there unless there is some amazing deal on a brand I love. We shall see….

Beauty boxes I subscribe to - I unsubscribed from a several which leaves me with the three I decided to keep - plus Julep, which will be cancelled after the January box:

Boxycharm - my favorite box
Kloverbox - eco friendly and cruelty free, a bit expensive
Julep - too expensive for the sizes of nail polish you get - may unsubscribe next month
Allure Beauty Box - a good starter box

Here are subscription boxes that I unsubscribed from:

BeautyFix - mostly skin care and hair care
Birchbox - a great starter box with mostly travel size products
PopSugar Must Have - random lifestyle things, very expensive box
Starlooks - cruelty free, great cosmetics
E.L.F. Play Beautifully Box - cruelty free and ships every other month
Walmart Beauty Box - seasonal (4 times a year), mostly samples with an occassional full size item
Ipsy - generous sample size and sometimes full size items

Unless otherwise stated in my video or description above, this product was purchased by me. I am not affiliated with manufacturers or any subscription service and am not compensated for the review.  I promise you that you will always get my full and honest opinion.

Mini Haul ~ Bio-Oil, Smashbox, John Frieda, Skinn ~ Birchbox, HauteLook, Sam's

Welcome to my channel. Here is a haul from Sam’s Club (like COSCO), HauteLook, and Birchbox shop. I have a few other things due to come in. The Bio-Oil was a life saver when my skin was dried out and actually felt sore. I still use the Murad cleanser that caused it, but am a little more careful with its use and always follow it up with my alcohol free Thayer’s witch hazel toner and a light application of Bio-Oil. Let’s just say, the Murad cleanser is a bit of a super deep clean face wash, which is sometimes really good to use. *Everything purchased was research and found to be cruelty free.
Bio-Oil is no longer cruelty free because they just started selling in China - crap - this will be hard to give up, but now that they aren't cruelty free, when this is used up it will not be repurchased.

Allure Beauty Box - also a good starter box

Here are subscription boxes that I recently unsubscribed from:

Got this beautiful set of brushes by @CrownBrush on @HauteLook

HauteLook has a lot of discounted items in every category, but my focus has been the beauty area. I've gotten some great things there are a really great discount. You have to join, but it cost nothing at all to joint the site and they don't ask a bunch of prying  questions - click here to join.

Anyway, I've gotten some great make up, including a Crown Brush palette. This is my first foray into buying brushes online. These brushes are gorgeous. Almost too nice of a set to use, so Ill have to dive in soon. The beauty of this case is that it keeps my brushes safe from my curious kitties, who love to mess with all my stuff.

Below is a video unboxing my HauteLook order.

One thing with HauteLook is that the specials rotate and have a beginning and end point. As long as you join, you get email updates. Crown Bush currently has a special on HauteLook that ends soon. But the emails keep me up to date when brands re-list. It's a great site!

And, by the way, Crown Brush is cruelty free!
